Updates
The Illustrated Guide to Wineries of the Napa Valley is unique among guidebooks in that it is a "print-on-demand" book. Although this is a more expensive way to publish, it has the advantage of enabling the author to keep you abreast of the latest winery or restaurant closures and keep you updated to changes in winery schedules and tours. The following is a list of changes which have been incorporated into the latest "Updated Edition" of the book.

May 2015:
wine tasting fees now listed as exact prices instead of within a price range and are updated where increased
updated wineries which formerly allowed drop-ins and are now requiring appointments
The Pearl Restaurant is no longer in business and has been replaced by St. Clair Brown Garden Eatery in the guide.
